MS Windows is a multi tasking operating system, which was already treated. It manages the entire resources of a computer with out the knowledge of the operator. It is the common OS found in the personal computers to day.
Ms Windows Operating System can copy files, set up program, configure computer peripherals, format drives, set screen saver, set screen resolution, perform disc fragmentation, delete and restore deleted files, Schedule processes, manage memory spaces navigate drives and files in the computer e.t.c.
Some Features of MS Windows Operating System are:
Minimize: ( decreases the size of a window onto the task bar)
Maximize: (increases the size of a window)
Close" (closes a window)
Task bar: Task bar holds open files

Start Button: This object helps us to access folders and program files
Recycle Bin: This folder stores all the deleted files just like a dustbin that stores waste paper in the office. Files deleted in application packages can be restored. The Recycle Bin also has the feature to re-delete files permanently from the computer.
Desktop Window: After you start your computer success fully, the first thing you will see in the DESKTOP. It identified by a picture, which is called an icon. The arrangement of your desktop and the kind of icons depends on how your computer was set up.
My Computer: It is a navigator that helps you to view the content of your computer. It holds files, folders and all drives in the computers.
