ACCESS PROVIDER: This is an organization that provides access to the internet they are generally referred to as Internet Services Provider (ISP)

BANDWIDTH: Brand-width is a term used to describe how much data one can sent through a connection to the internet.
BLOG: This is a short form for weblog. It is a personal non-commercial website that uses a dated log format (usually with the most recent at the top of the page) and contains links to other websites along with commentary about other sites.
COOKIES: these are small text files created by an internet website and stored on the user's computer.

DOMAIN: this is the part of the internet address that specify the location of ones computer in the world.
E-MAIL: E-mail is the short form of Electronic Mail. It is a facility that makes it possible for users to send, share and receive messages through the internet.
E-MAIL ADDRESS: This is a code that represents the e-mail user on the internet. An example of an e-mail address is bill@gmail.com
EMOTIONS: these are animated faces that express different emotions that one can send in e-mails, chat and instant messaging.
FAQ(Frequently Asked Questions): These are files on the net which store the answers to common questions abut a topic.
FILTER: this refers to the hardware or software designed to restrict access to certain areas on the internet.
FINGER: it is a software that allows the user supply the address of an internet site to find information about that system's users or a particular user.
INBOX: this is a file that holds the e-mail that you receive.
INSTANT MESSAGING(IM): this is a service that makes it possible for people to send and receive messages almost instantly.
INFOBOT(or mailbot): This is an e-mail address that automatically returns informtion requested by the user.
INTERNET ACCOUNT: this is an account bought through an Internet Service Provider.
KNOWBOT: This is software that searches the internet "white pages" and lists users at large organizations, to find somebody's name and address.
NETSCAPE: Netscape is an internet navigation software that allows users access information through a geographical, point-and-click interface rather than text one screens or menus.
HYPER TEXT MARK UP LANGUAGE(HTML): this may be described as a series of simple instructions codes interpreted by a browser to display a web page.
WORLD WIDE WEB(WWW): the world wide web, also popularly known as www or simply the web, is a set of multimedia documents that are connected so that one jump from one document to another by clicking hyperlinks. The functions of world wide web include
