Robot is a mechanical device controlled by computer that performs work ordinarily done by human beings. The Robot institute of America(RIA) defines Robot as a "re-programmable, multi functional manipulator, designed to move materials, parts, tools, or specialized devices through variable programmed motions, for the performance of a variety of tasks".
Robots lift things and put things down, they weld, load and unload, Robots assembly and inspect. They operate in places where humans don't want to go such as space,underwater, in Bad air and in battle. Robot can see and touch. Examples of some Robots are:
